There’s no slowing down time—we’re finally ushering the season of love into our doors.

“Be the Spark, Light the Way,” is the holiday mantra for Bohol’s finest and brightest five-star hotel, BE Grand Resort Bohol. After years of forgetting what Christmas feels like, the resort sets forth a reassuring reminder for both tourists and residents to get into the merry mood.

To give light and to spread love, BE Grand Resort jazzes up the holiday spirit with a tree lighting ceremony that enchants Bohol with a newfound spark and glory.

When you enter the lobby, three royal-looking Christmas trees sit in the middle symbolizing hope, renewal and excellence. This here is a comforting Christmas styling that provides an antidote to beat the holiday blues.

What’s more special and heartwarming is that BE Grand Resort remembers its tale of revival alongside the local Boholanos’ resilience. It looks back on the time when everyone worked collectively to overcome adversity that followed during the pandemic and Typhoon Odette in 2021.

“With the help and the hard work of people, working with us every single day, we managed to open several offices,” said general manager Lorenzo Tang.

Tang hopes to see that BE Grand Resort will become a benchmark of hospitality and tourism in the province.

A dream is not too far away as Christina Garcia Frasco, secretary of the Department of Tourism, extends her heartfelt congratulations to the hotel for continuing to make progress that reflects the perseverance of the Filipino people.

Without a doubt, the five-hectare hotel has surpassed expectations in providing top-notch services to Filipinos and Boholanos that are firmly founded in the spirit of community-orientedness.

Along with the community, the chief operations officer, Nova Noval, also promotes sustainability initiatives in BE Grand Resort, as demonstrated by its bronze and gold Christmas trees that are decked out with recycled ornaments such as slippers and toothbrushes.

“That is our passion. That is where we are coming from. We repurpose and we reuse and that is how we give back,” said Nova in her speech.
