Welcome to Lune, the latest rooftop hangout destination located in BE Grand Resort Bohol. It recently opened on Nov. 25, drawing friends, guests and VIPs from the nearby cities in the region.

Launched in collaboration with multi-awarded gastronomist, Jenzel Fontilla, Lune provides a fresh bar scene in Panglao, Bohol that offers cocktails, wines and hard liquors that will surely make nights out memorable ones.

Its charm is found in its Celestial Series, a composition of meticulously concocted, zodiac-themed drinks. Plus, the panoramic view of the horizon and the coastline side of Panglao Island is one of its most appealing features.

“We all have the same sky, but Lune has the best horizon! Enjoy the view over intoxicating drinks and savory tapas at the only roof deck lounge on the island,” stated its official website.

Due to The Lune Bar’s strategic location, it is ideal for viewing stunning sunsets. At night, everyone can unwind under the stars and take in the majestic sight of the moon—from which that bar’s name is derived.

The perfect time to visit the bar is during the so-called “Cosmic Hours” from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m., when visitors can avail of amazing discounts for their drinks and food.

Fontilla’s gastronomical marvels enable The Lune Bar to provide flavorful customized bar chows that take inspiration from countries like France and Tunisia. It also offers local flavors, inspired all the way from the province of Maguindanao.

Menu standouts include its Croquetas Con Mariscos (mixed seafood rolled, breaded and deep fried, and served with Cajun-mayo sauce) and Salpicado De Vaca (local beef tenderloin in signature marinade, sautéed in olive oil, garlic, and paprika, and topped with fried garlic chips. Craving for dessert? The Banana Flambé—flambeéd banana sautéed in butter, brown sugar, rhum, lemon juice and banana liqueur—makes for an interesting pick.

Chill the night away with a choice from its offered signature cocktails: The BE Grand Special Rum (Cointreau, Apple Juice, Lime, Basil, Brown Sugar), Balicasag Horizon (Vodka, Blue Curacao, Cranberry, Pineapple Juice) or Tarsier Punch (Cointreau, Fresh Orange Juice, Gin, Martini Rosso), among others.

According to Fontilla, the bar contains his personal touches and the quasi-culmination of his gastronomical adventures around the world, promising a one-of-a-kind experience for people who want to experience the best of Panglao.
