2 nabbed in Zamboanga anti-drug sting



TWO people, including a newly identified suspect, were arrested in an anti-drug operation in Zamboanga City, the police reported Sunday, December 11, 2022.

Police Major Francis Briones, Zamboanga City Police Office’s (ZCPO) Station 11 chief, identified the suspects as Aldaquer Addalino, 37, and Unnad Ebit, 20, all residents of Rio Hondo village, Zamboanga City.

Briones said Addalino was previously arrested in an anti-drug operation on December 30, 2020, while Ebit is a newly identified drug suspect.

He said the two suspects were arrested in an anti-drug operation around 2:43 p.m. Saturday, December 10, 2022, in Sitio Sampaloc, Rio-Hondo village, Zamboanga City.

Briones said the two suspects were immediately arrested after they sold suspected shabu to an undercover policeman.

He said recovered from the possession of the two suspects were a gram of suspected shabu worth P6,800, and P200 marked money consisting of two bills of P100.

He said the two suspects were detained while charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against them. (SunStar Zamboanga)
