THE Provincial Government of Negros Occidental will officially turn on the Christmas lights at the Capitol premises including the lagoon and park today, December 13.

The occasion also coincided with the birthday of Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson.

Provincial Administrator Atty. Rayfrando Diaz II said Lacson will read stories with the kids at the skating rink of the Provincial Capitol Lagoon and Park while free snacks and gift giving will follow.

Diaz said children from the Boys and Girls Home will join the governor along with the children of the Capitol employees.

Diaz said the children's playground which is being improved by the province will be one of the main attractions not just during the holiday season but the entire year as well.

Diaz assured that the lagoon, especially the skating rink, is now well lighted while its facilities were improved.*
