MANILA -- With the recent opening of Taiwan’s borders, the extension of the visa-free policy for Filipinos, and the relaunch of the "Panahon sa Taiwan" campaign, the "Panahon sa Taiwan with Gabbi Garcia" event that was held today at the Market! Market! Activity Center was truly a huge success.
Ambassador Peiyung Hsu, Representative, Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in the Philippines said, "We are very happy to relaunch "Panahon sa Taiwan with Gabbi Garcia" after more than two years of travel restrictions due to the pandemic. We are also delighted to see Gabbi again, who has already become an integral part of Taiwan tourism. We are excited and looking forward to welcoming her back to Taiwan next year."
Gabbi happily serenaded the crowd, as well as her many adoring fans, during the main event.
And since December also happens to be Gabbi’s birth month, Taiwan Tourism Bureau surprised her with a cake in her favorite flavor.
Adding to the delightful Taiwanese experience during the festivities, Tea Melody, a popular Taiwanese milk tea brand, gave away hundreds of bubble milk tea drinks to the crowd and had a fun DIY milk tea activity that was enjoyed by everyone.
To celebrate the reopening of Taiwan, China Airlines, Starlux Airlines, AirAsia, ARK Travel Express, Jeron Travel and Tours, and No. 1 Tour and Transport offered amazing travel deals.
Mallgoers and attendees took advantage of the promotional fares being offered for her upcoming, "Panahon sa Taiwan with Gabbi Garcia Fan Activity," which is scheduled to take place in Taiwan on March 19, 2023. One lucky winner will be picked during the Taiwan event to win two roundtrip tickets from Manila to Kaohsiung as the jackpot prize. Other exciting prizes will also be given away.
Gabbi is expected to travel to Taiwan early next year o visit the places she hasn't been to yet and to try new activities.
