THE alter ego of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. will go around and listen to the problems of the 16 provinces that compose the three regions in the Visayas.
This was revealed by Undersecretary Terence Calatrava of the Office of the Presidential Assistant for the Visayas, who was recently appointed by Marcos to replace former secretary Michael Dino.
“I will meet with the governors and mayors. I will provide them with a listening ear to get to know their concerns and their needs since different provinces will have different problems,” Calatrava said in a mix of Cebuano and English on Wednesday, December 14, 2022.
He said he hopes to surpass the many accomplishments of his predecessor in the last administration.
He said his office will support programs and projects that will help in the development of local government units like Mayor Michael Rama’s Singapore-like vision for Cebu City, as this will benefit citizens.
Calatrava also said he will make sure that the programs and projects that will be implemented by the Marcos administration will reach the grassroots level. (PAC, PJB)
