CLARK FREEPORT SM Supermalls in Central Luzon spread Christmas cheers as it held simultaneous gift-giving activities earlier today, December 13.
Through its charity arm SM Foundation Inc. (SMFI), SM Supermalls distributed more than 2000 Christmas packs all over the region to kickstart a special project that aims to bring happiness and hope to families in communities around SM malls.
In Pampanga, at least 1700 food packs were distributed.
SM City Clark distributed 500 food packs in Brgy. Diaz Porac, Sitio, Haduan, and Sitio Calapi Mabalacat, in partnership with Philippine Air Force, Basa Air Base.
For SM City Pampanga, SM City Telabastagan, SM City San Fernando Downtown, and SM Savemore Apalit Telabastagan, food packs were distributed in Barangay Masamat, Brgy. Lagundi, Brgy. Telabastagan, Barangay Lagundi, Brgy. San Jose, Brgy. Maimpis, Brgy. Calulut, and Brgy. San Juan.
For SM City Tarlac, at least 300 chosen beneficiaries from Sitio Balas, Brgy. San Roque, Tarlac City received food packs. Another 300 were distributed by SM City Cabanatuan employees at the Bulwagan ng Katutubo (Aeta community) in Sitio Bacao, Palayan City.
For SM Olongapo Central and SM City Olongapo, 300 packs were given to residents of Brgy. East Tapinac and Brgy. East Bajac Bajac, while another 200 packs were given for Brgy. Pagasa and Brgy. New Asinan.
The gift-giving is part of SM Supermalls' effort to support communities and sectors in need especially persons with disabilities, senior groups, urban poor, and indigenous people.
