CITY OF SAN FERNANDO Fourteen local government units LGUs from Pampanga bagged the Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) award.
The cities of San Fernando and Mabalacat in Pampanga were among the recipients of the award.
Municipal awardees include Apalit, Arayat, Bacolor, Candaba, Guagua, Floridablanca, Lubao, Magalang, Mexico, Porac, San Luis, and Sto. Tomas.
Aside from the SGLG award, the awardees also received cash incentive from the Department of Interior and Local Government.
Each city awardee received P7-million, while municipalities got P5 million each.
The Seal of Good Local Governance is an award given to LGUs with distinct and remarkable performance in several areas of local governance.
The awarding ceremony was held at the Manila Hotel on Thursday morning, December 15.
