FIVE people were arrested as policemen together with Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) operatives have dismantled a drug den in the province of Zamboanga Sibugay, the police reported Tuesday, December 20, 2022.
Police Colonel Eduard Mallo, Zamboanga Sibugay police director, identified the arrested suspects as the following: Arnel Senturias; Billy Faustino, 25; Jeric Gumamo, 19; Alberto Alcalde, 30; and, Regie Bawisan, 30.
Mallo said the suspects were arrested and drug den dismantled in a law enforcement operation through service of search warrant around 2:30 p.m. Monday, December 19, at Purok Recudo in Magdaup village, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay.
Mallo said confiscated during the search warrant operation were some 12 grams of suspected shabu packed in 20 heat-sealed plastic sachets with P81,600, three mobile phones, and other illegal drug paraphernalia.
He said the arrested suspects were placed under the custody of Ipil Municipal Police Station for proper disposition. (SunStar Zamboanga)
