THE stage is set for the 10 beautiful Cebuanas vying for the crown and title of Sinulog Festival Queen 2023, happening at the Cebu City Sports Complex (CCSC) on Friday, January 13.

Candidates representing the different barangays, cities and towns of Cebu held their images of Santo Niño proudly during the presentation of candidates at the Axis Bar in Nustar Resort and Casino on Saturday, January 7.

The beauties were also given the chance to showcase their personalities when they were interviewed by sponsors and members of the media during the presentation.

Cebu City Mayor Michael Rama and Vice Mayor Raymond Alvin Garcia, who is the cluster chairperson of the Sinulog 2023 presentations, were present during the event.

The candidates are also expected to strut the stage of the Mountain Wing Atrium at SM Seaside City on January 9 for the Sinulog Festival Queen Runway Competition.

Thousands of spectators are foreseen to gather during the coronation night at the CCSC, as this will be the first time in almost three years that a queen will be crowned following its cancelation due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
