DENGUE cases in Negros Occidental are dropping, Provincial Health Officer Dr. Ernell Tumimbang said.
He said the drop in dengue cases in the province has been monitored from June to December last year.
Despite the drop, the Department of Health Western Visayas Center for Health Development reported that Negros Occidental, which has 22 cases, registered the most number of cases from January 1 to 14 followed by Antique with 11 cases and Capiz, 10.
No newly-reported dengue fatalities at the start of 2023, the DOH report also said.
