TO HONE young talents and prepare them for greater opportunities - this is the goal of Davao-based talent agency Icon Elites Artist Management.

Started in 2019, the agency has developed hundreds of young talents in the city and is continuing to do so through various training and classes in modeling, acting, personality development, performance arts, photoshoot styling, and hosting, among others.

“The agency started with high hopes to produce quality talents and young potentials in Davao aiming to unleash the full potentials of these aspiring models and artists,” Paul Austin ‘Pau’ G. Pallada, founder of Icon Elites Artist Management shared.

Highlighting the talents of Davao, the agency successfully pulled off its first-ever big event last December 13, 2022 entitled “Fusionism Fashion Show for a Cause” held in Ayala Malls Abreeza.

The event showcased some 30 talents wearing the creations of Fg Buelis’ Alfre Collections from Dubai, Asia, and Europe. Hosted by former Sinag ng Dabaw 2016 Kai del Corro, the event was also graced by Dabawenya beauty queen Bb. Pilipinas Supranational 2018 Jehza Huelar Simon.

Garcia said the event was made more special and memorable because they’re doing it for a greater cause - to help the Kids House of Hope Inc., an organization that supports kids with cancer and survivors.

“We are grateful to all who supported our event. We were able to raise around P30,000 for the foundation from our generous sponsors and good friends in the industry,” he added.

Notable guests during the event were Joji ilagan International Schools Chief Operating Officer (CEO) Nicole Hao Bian-Ledesma, Kids House of Hope fundraising manager Arleen Aportadera, Davao City councilor Atty. Luna S. Acosta, and Ms. Danney Robles Sangregorio. Also present were Mindanao Repertory Community, and vloggers/content creators namely “Samboy” Samuel Lafuente; “Boy Pimple” Dennise Cisneros; “Laag ta Bai” Samuel Ponisa, “Ms. Eyes On Me” Shereyl Samocino; and Christian Carlo Rea.

The event was also made successful with the help of Dazzle Events; Cagata Events; Rings & Bouquets team; Drop House; Bevanda; Picturesque; and Tycheros Cafe. The event was also in partnership with SunStar Davao as a media partner.

The 31-year-old founder said he created Icon Elites to veer the young generation away from vices and become a space for dreamers to be inspired and reach their full potential.

“Icon Elites can be a vessel of hope to others who want to achieve their dreams to become artists and/or models,” he said.

This 2023, the agency continues to develop aspiring talents and help various groups in the community through its events and talents.
