Enumerables said that Comelec-Davao did not set a specific target number for the registration but added that a lot have already registered for the upcoming local polls.

“Since pag start sa January, ubay-ubay gyod ang nag register (Many have already registered since January began). Ang third district ang highest sa district. Usahay muabot sila 1,000 a day (The third district is the highest among the district. Sometimes they even reach 1,000 registrations in a day),” she said during an interview with the Davao City Disaster Radio.

However, they mostly target senior high school students who are at least 15 years old since they are already eligible to vote in the SK elections.

Those 30 years old or below on the day of the elections can also vote for SK.

For local or barangay polls, eligible voters are 18 years old and above.

Initially, the barangay and SK election was scheduled on December 2022 but was moved to October of this year. ICM
