UP TO P1 million worth of illegal drugs were seized from a drug personality by operatives of the City of Naga Police Station during a buy-bust on Wednesday afternoon, January 25, 2023.

The operation, which was headed by Lieutenant Colonel Junnel Cadlawon, station chief, led to the arrest of Egmidio Gadoy Delima, alias Joros, a resident of Barangay Guadalupe, Cebu City.

Cadlawon said the shabu weighed 150 grams.

He said Delima’s name came up while they were interrogating detained drug personalities, which was how they discovered that the suspect was supplying illegal drugs in the City of Naga.

He said they used a poseur-buyer to contact the suspect, who agreed to meet in Sitio V. Rama in Barangay Langtad at 2 p.m. on Wednesday.

Cadlawon said Delima will be charged with violating Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (BBT/PJB)
