A ROOSTER handler was arrested in a buy-bust operation in Dauis town, Bohol past 7 p.m. on Wednesday, January 25, 2023.
Dauis Police Station Chief, Lieutenant Thomas Zen Cheung, headed the operation that led to the arrest of John Albert Iter, 27, a resident of Barangay Dao, Tagbilaran City.
Iter yielded more than a kilo of suspected shabu worth around P8.5 million.
Cheung said in an interview with SunStar Cebu that they arrested Iter based on the information given by their other captives about the suspect’s illegal drug activity.
Cheung added that the suspect can be classified as Regional High-Value Target due to the large number of drugs in his possession.
The suspect will be facing charges in violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (BBT/TPT)
