The Cebu Provincial Police Office (CPPO) Intelligence Unit nabbed a high-value individual in possession of P13.6 million worth of illegal drugs in Liloan town, Cebu, on Thursday evening, January 26, 2023.

The suspect, identified as Lunicito Juario "Looney" Labitas, 38, was arrested around 11:35 p.m. at Sitio Upper Bagacay, Barangay Tayud, allegedly carrying 2 kilos of illegal drug substances suspected to be shabu.

Labitas, who hails from Barangay Quiot Pardo in Cebu City, is considered one of the top 10 priority targets of the police and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA).

Police are now tracking the supply chain to identify where Labitas may have sourced the illegal drugs from. The confiscated substances and paraphernalia have been turned over to the police's Regional Forensic Unit for further investigations. (AYB/DCL)
