AN ESTIMATED P54,400 worth of suspected shabu was seized in a drug bust operation by operatives of Police Station 7 at Purok Kabugwason, Barangay Mansilingan, Bacolod City around 7:10 p.m. Thursday, January, 26, 2023.
The operation also led to the arrest of Bernadette Prado, 40, a resident of the said village.
Major Elmer Bonilla, commander of Police Station 7, said the suspect was arrested after she sold a sachet of shabu to a police-poseur buyer.
Police recovered from Prado’s possession six sachets of suspected shabu weighing eight grams, the P500 marked money, and a pouch.
Bonilla said Prado, who was identified as a high-value individual in Bacolod City, was under surveillance for almost a month before her arrest.
The suspect is detained at the custodial facility of Police Station 6.
She will face drug charges.
