The translation workshop, which took place in the afternoon, was capped off with a lecture from Dr. Hope Sabanpan-Yu entitled, “Mga Kagamitan ng Siste sa mga Piling Dula ni Piux Kabahar.”

The second day began with a lecture from Joanalyn Gabales of the University of San Carlos entitled, “Mga Payo ng Manding Karya sa mga Kabataang Babae.” It was followed by a special lecture from Dr. Federico Magdalena of the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa entitled, “Enrique de Malacca: Malay or Cebuano.” The afternoon activities focused once more on a translation workshop led Sabanpan-Yu.
