OPERATIVES of the Police Drug Enforcement Group Visayas and Special Operations Unit 7 arrested a drug pusher in Sitio Luna, Barangay Lagtang, Talisay City on Saturday night, January 28, 2023.

They identified the suspect as 43-year-old Ritchie Villaraso, an assistant fighting cock handler who resides in the sitio.

They also took into custody Villaraso’s customer, 29-year-old Asher Bacacao, a resident of Sitio Kadikay, Barangay Lawaan 3 in the same city.

Police seized shabu worth P102,000 during the operation.

Bacacao told police he was buying the shabu for someone else in exchange for P300.

Villaraso, who was previously jailed for selling and possessing drugs, was released from prison last July.

The two men will be charged with violating Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (BBT)
