Aduna na man tuoy 24 ka mga magduduwa nga gipangpili ang Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) alang sa training pool apan giklaro ni Reyes nga posible pa silang mokuha og magduduwa nga wala sa listahan.
Usa sa mga gihunahuna ni Reyes mao si San Miguel Beermen guard Terrence Romeo.
Gipasabot ni Reyes nga wala na lang nila giapil si Romeo sa training pool tungod kay nasayod na man sila kon unsa’y mahimo niini sulod sa rectangle nga korte.
Nidugang si Reyes nga gusto sab nilang hatagan og kahigayunan ang ubang mga magduduwa nga sama og posisyon ni Romeo nga makapamatuod sa ilang kapabilidad.
“There are certainly other names that we have been considering, other names we are looking at,” matod ni Reyes sa interbyu sa Power and Play program nga napatik sa www.abs-cbnnews.
“I know maraming ingay about Terrence Romeo and I told Terrence myself, you are always part of the consideration. But we already know what Terrence can give. Let’s see what others can give. And then, we will make a decision come World Cup time.”
Matud ni Reyes nga gipangkonsiderar sab nila ang kadaghanan sa mga magduduwa nga nahimong sakop sa Gilas kaniadto.
“Terrence is one example and there are other names. There are so many other good players in the league and there are other names that are here but are injured like Isaac Go,” matod ni Reyes.
“Even sila Matt Nieto, sila Kevin Alas, ang dami. I hope people will appreciate na hindi lahat puwede nating ilagay sa pool. We have to make some decisions.”
Ang 24-man pool sa Gilas gipangulohan sa resident import sa Brgy. Ginebra Gin Kings nga si Justin Brownlee, kinsa bag-uhay lang nahatagan og Filipino citizenship.
Naa sab sa lista ang mga kauban ni Brownlee sa Ginebra nga sila si Scottie Thompson, Jamie Malonzo, ug Japeth Aguilar.
