CITY OF SAN FERNANDO Two Nigerians were arrested in Angeles City over the weekend for allegedly selling shabu.
The suspects were identified as Chekwbe Nnamani Sunday alias “David”, and Ifeanyi Augustine Chinweuba alias “Fanny”.
Brigadier General Cesar Pasiwen, Police Regional Office III director, said the duo were apprehended after they tried to sell illegal drugs to undercover police officers during a buy-bust operation.
Seized from the suspects were two medium-sized sachets of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride (shabu)
weighing 250 grams valued at P1.7-million, and the cops' marked money.
Pasiwen said a follow up investigation is being conducted to find out if the suspects are linked to the West African Drug Syndicate (WADS).
The operation was conducted by personnel of the City Intelligence Unit, Angeles City Drug Enforcement Unit and Police Satation 3, Angeles City Police Office at a mall terminal in Barangay Pulung Maragul, Angeles City.
