THE Cebu City office joins Guesty’s 14 international offices, recruiting employees to join the PropTech company’s customer support team.

Guesty, the leading property management platform for the short-term rental and hospitality industry, opened a new office in Cebu City on Dec. 8, 2022. The new office will expand Guesty’s regional footprint and global customer support team, with plans to hire 100 employees in Cebu by the end of 2024.

Founded in 2013 by twins Amiad and Kobi Soto, Guesty has grown into a multinational PropTech corporation with more than 600 employees spread across 14 international offices in Israel, the United States, Australia, United Kingdom, Portugal, Turkey, the Netherlands, and now, the Philippines.

Recruitment

For the rest of the month of December, Guesty began recruitment at the 16th floor of the Skyrise 4B building on W. Geonzon St. to interview and source experienced candidates for its first 40 roles. The company has plans to expand its Cebu City office and increase its number of employees to 100 by the end of 2024.

Earlier in 2022, Guesty announced a US$170 million funding round led by the Apax Digital Funds, MSD partners and Sixth Street Growth, solidifying its status as the industry’s gold-standard property management platform.

It additionally acquired three major companies in the hospitality space, including YieldPlanet, Kigo, and HiRum. The infusion of capital will be used to hire talented individuals, invest heavily in research and development and product development and to expand into new business verticals including damage protection, payment solutions and innovative automation and management tools.

“We are excited and look forward to growing Guesty’s global workforce and footprint in the Philippines,” says Vered Raviv-Schwarz, president and chief operations officer of Guesty. “Our new office will tap into the wonderful ecosystem of Cebu City and I’m proud to visit the Philippines team in person and witness another major growth milestone in Guesty’s trajectory.”
