THE nursing students of University of Cebu who helped save a fruit vendor in downtown Cebu City on January 30, 2023 will receive an award from the Cebu City Government.
Mayor Michael Rama said in a press conference on Monday, February 6, 2023, that Angyl Fayth Ababat and Kristianne Joice Noelle Ona will be the "Mayor's awardees" during the Charter Day Celebration on February 24.
Rama said he is yet to discuss the specifics of the awards that the students will receive.
He also assured that Ababat and Ona will have a place in the Cebu City Medical Center by the time they graduate and get their licenses. (Eiver Ky Villegas, USJ-R intern)
