Kasong plunder, malversation of public funds pinaagi sa falsification of official documents, graft and corruption ug paglapas sa Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees gipasaka batok kang Bantag atubangan sa Department of Justice ni Bucor Officer-in-Charge Gregorio Catapang.
Laing respondents sa reklamo mao sila si Correction Technical Superintendent Arnold Jacinto Guzman, Correction Inspector Ric Rocacurba, Correction Inspector Solomon Areniego, Correction Technical Officer 1 Jor-el De Jesus, Correction Technical Officer 2 Angelo Castillo ug Correction Technical Officer Alexis Catindig.
Ang mga kaso may kalambigitan sa P1-bilyon nga kontrata nga gisudlan sa Bucor ubos sa pagpangatungdanan ni Bantag alang sa pagtukod sa tulo ka pasilidad sa prisohan sa Davao Prison and Penal Farm, Iwahig Prison ug Penal Farm sa Puerto Princesa, Palawan ug Leyte Regional Prison.
Namatikdan sa unom ka pahina nga reklamo nga si Bantag nagtukod og bulag nga Bidding and Award Committee nga eksklusibo alang sa nahisgutan nga proyekto, nga gitumong kuno nga “i-divert” o “misappropriate” ang pundo sa publiko.
“Respondent Bantag in conspiracy with, and with indispensable complicity of, the other herein respondents, has purposely and systematically orchestrated the diversion/misappropriation and/or consenting or permitting other persons, to take public funds, of the Bureau of Corrections,” mabasa sa reklamo.
