39 LGUs in Cebu led by Provincial Government pass DILG’s 2022 Good Financial Housekeeping evaluation

THE Cebu Provincial Government passed the Department of the Interior and Local Government’s (DILG) 2022 Good Financial Housekeeping evaluation.

This is according to the summary list of 2022 Good Financial Housekeeping passers released by the DILG Central Office on Tuesday, February 7, 2023.

Other passers in Cebu include the cities of Bogo, Carcar, Danao, Naga and Talisay and the towns of Alcantara, Alcoy, Alegria, Aloguinsan, Asturias, Badian, Balamban, Bantayan, Barili, Boljoon, Borbon, Catmon, Daanbantayan, Dalaguete, Ginatilan, Liloan, Madridejos, Minglanilla, Moalboal, Oslob, Pinamungajan, Ronda, Samboan, San Fernando, San Remigio, Santa Fe, Santander, Sibonga, Sogod, Tabuelan, Tabogon, Tuburan and Tudela.

This means the local government unit (LGU) passed the components of the Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) which measures the clear reporting of its financial activities.

An LGU can get the award if it can present the latest audit opinion from the Commission on Audit and comply with the Full Disclosure Policy (FDP) by posting financial documents in three conspicuous spaces and the FDP portal. (ANV, PJB)
