City of San Fernando At least eight indigent Kapampangans received free eye surgery from the provincial government of Pampanga.
Through the “Alagang Nanay Preventive Healthcare Program,” the beneficiaries were taken to the Green City Medical Center where they received their needed treatments.
At least three of the eight patients had cataracts while the other five had pterygium.
Vice Govenor Lilia Pineda earlier said that the program aims to provide immediate medical attention to Kapampangans in need.
The provincial government has been hosting medical and dental missions including minor surgeries to indigent Kapampangans.
