CITY OF SAN FERNANDO All local government units (LGUs) in Pampanga has posted a 100 percent passing rate on the Department of the Interior and Local Government’s (DILG) standards for Good Financial Housekeeping (GFH) in 2022.
Based on the list released by DILG, the provincial government together with its two component cities and 19 municipalities passed the department’s GFH standards and practices for 2022.
The highly urbanized city of Angeles was also a GFH 2022 passer.
The GFH evaluates and awards LGUs for their performances in terms of “financial transparency and fiscal accountability.” It is one of the components of the DILG’s coveted “Seal of Good Local Governance Award.”
Aside from Pampanga, three more provinces in Central Luzon namely Aurora, Bataan, and Tarlac also posted a 100 percent GFH passing rate.
