ANGELES CITY The city government here and the National Museum of the Philippines unveiled four historical markers of cultural properties on February 7.
The unveiling ceremonies were led by National Museum of the Philippines Deputy Director General for Administration Atty. Ma. Rosenne Flores Avila, Vice Mayor Vicky Vega-Cabigting, Atty. Avila, Angeles City Tourism Officer Anneleen Sugui and Angeles City Economic Development and Investment Promotions Officer Irish Bonus-Llego.
Also present during the unveiling ceremonies were the owners of the properties.
The unveiling of historical markers is part of the city government’s activities for the celebration of National Arts Month.
Among the cultural properties unveiled with historical markers are Residencia De Don Ciriaco De Miranda, Residencia De Don Angel Pantaleon De Miranda (Founder’s House), House of Rafael Yutuc Sr., and Deposito De Jose Pedro Henson.
Residencia De Don Ciriaco De Miranda is located at Dalan Sto. Rosario, Barangay Sto. Rosario and currently owned by Dr. Ernie Nepomuceno.
Residencia De Don Angel Pantaleon De Miranda (Founder’s House) also located at Dalan Sto. Rosario, Barangay Sto. Rosario is now owned by Rosalie Naguit.
Meanwhile, Dr. Ferdinand Laguinilla is the current owner of House of Rafael Yutuc Sr. which is located at Dalan Sto. Entierro, Barangay Sto. Cristo.
The Deposito De Jose Pedro Henson is being preserved by its current owner Dr. Pio Rafael Lim.
