THE Talisay City Government and the Department of Social Welfare and Development-Central Visayas (DSWD 7) distributed cash assistance to victims of the fire that struck Barangay San Roque Monday night, February 6, 2023.

The victims received financial aid ranging from P5,000 to P10,000 from the local government unit on Friday morning, February 10, 2023.

Cebu First District Representative Rhea Mae Gullas also distributed P10,000 to each of the affected families in coordination with the DSWD 7.

Donations of ready-to-eat food, blankets, clothing, household goods, and necessities for infants and the elderly can be dropped off at the San Roque Barangay Hall or the City Hall Negosyo Center. (Jenika Gi-An C. Nero, STC Intern)
