Sight Saver Eye Care Center opened its new branch on the second floor of Insular Square, Mandaue City, on Saturday, January 28, 2023.
Its J Center Mall Branch recently closed on January 27, 2023, due to the mall’s change in management. General manager Jill M. Chuntic said: “Change is scary, especially from a business perspective. But J Center Mall and Insular Square are quite similar so it was easy for us to adjust and get accustomed to the new location.”
Chuntic’s niece, Dr. Sarah Justine Medida-Pesidas is a professional optometrist and helps her manage the clinic. The enterprise was originally a passion endeavor born during the pandemic by combining Chuntic’s and Medida-Pesidas’ fields of interest: Business management and Optometry, respectively.
This partnership eventually grew and resulted in three Sight Saver Eye Care Center branches in Cebu City, one located on Colon Street, another on the ground floor of Kaking Building at Tabunok street, and the newly opened branch on the second floor of Insular Square.
“Eventually we want to reach those [northern] parts of Cebu and extend our services to the people there. But that will be for the future.” Chuntic shared.
Sight Saver Eye Care Center offers reasonably priced, high-quality ocular therapies such as low vision therapy, eye exams, prescription glasses, and contacts, with prices starting at P499.
