Victorias City inducts new stud officials for Boys and Girls Week

ROTARY Club of Victorias, in partnership with the City Government of Victorias and the Schools Division of Victorias, kicked off this year’s Boys and Girls Week celebration through a pinning ceremony and oath-taking at the City Public Plaza Monday, February 13, 2023.

Elected student officials from various participating schools will immerse in an on-field working experience in the city government for a week.

City officials and department heads pinned their respective student officials.

Victorias City Mayor Javier Miguel Benitez inducted the Boys and Girls elected officials after the pinning of sash and ribbons to the young leaders.

Together with the City Mayor, Vice Mayor Abelardo Bantug III, City Councilors, Rotary Club Victorias President Mardy Maita Dinorog, Boys and Girls Week Program Chairman PP Dominador Bingo, and Rotarians-in-charge were all present in the ceremonies.

Victorias National High School, Negros Occidental Science High School, Colegio de Sta. Ana de Victorias, Don Bosco Technical Institute, Barangay Estado National High School, VNHS – Pangarap Village Extension, Victorias Most Holy Trinity School, Inc., VNHS – VICMICO Canetown Extension, VNHS–Cuaycong Ext., VNHS – Gaston Ext., and VNHS Gawahon Ext. are among the participating schools in the Boys and Girls Week celebration.

An election of officers and departments was conducted last Friday, February 10. The elected Boys and Girls officials were then convened for an orientation. (PR)
