THE priority of Barangay Maghaway in Talisay City is to work on the roads in Sitio Babao.

According to Barangay Councilor Ricky Luza, committee on infrastructure chairman, roads in the area are riddled with potholes.

Luza said the City Government will provide the funding for the rehabilitation project, which is expected to cost P7.3 million.

Apart from this, he said the barangay is currently expanding the barangay hall and the public pharmacy.

He said 80 percent of the work in both projects are completed.

Barangay Maghaway had seen little progress for several years but things are slowly improving, Luza said, pointing out that the barangay’s population has also grown. (BBT, PJB)
