Macabalan Police Station is 2022 most child-friendly

THE Macabalan Police Station (PS5) has been hailed as the Most Child-Friendly Police Station in Cagayan de Oro in 2022, getting the "3-stars excellent performance award" during the Pasundayag: Araw ng Parangal held in Ayala Centrio Mall.

The police station received P20,000 cash prize and a plaque. It also got the "Best Record Documentation Keeping and Documentation" and "Best Monitoring and Evaluation" awards.

Winning the 2-stars satisfactory performance award were the police stations in Puerto (PS6), Cugman (PS10), Nazareth (PS9), and Divisoria (PS1). Each of them received a P5,000 cash prize.

The one-star good performance award was given to the police stations in Bulua (PS7), Carmen (PS4), Lumbia (PS8), and Agora (PS3).

Special awards were presented, including Best Child-Friendly Initiatives award to Puerto Police Station, Best Child-Friendly Space award to Divisoria Police Station, Best Information and Advocacy Materials award to Nazareth Police Station, and Best in Community Engagement award to Lumbia Police Station.

Meanwhile, the Outstanding Station Commander award was given to Police Major Mario N. Mantala Jr. of Carmen Police Station, while the Outstanding Women and Child Desk Protection Officer award went to Police Staff Sergeant Rose A. Pulmones of Divisoria Police Station.
