A TOTAL of 17,009 establishments in Cagayan de Oro have their business permits renewed as of February 6, 2023, the Business Permits and Licensing Office reported.
According to Business Permits and Licensing Office head Jason Adaza, 1,012 of them opted to do their business permit renewal transaction through the City Hall's online system.
Most of the businesses that have filed for the renewal of their business permit were retailers, which is at 3,320. This is followed by establishments providing services at 2,483, and sari-sari stores at 2,173.
Adaza also reported that 692 new businesses in Cagayan de Oro applied for a business permit.
The Business Permits and Licensing Office urged business owners in the city to file business permit renewal before the end of the extended renewal period, which is on February 28, 2023.
