A Citizen Armed Forces Geographical Unit (CAFGU) member was gunned down in Barangay Guinpanaan, Moises Padilla Negros Occidental early Sunday, February 19.
Killed was 42-year-old Bon Cadigal of Barangay Quintin Remo, Moises Padilla.
The police investigation showed that the victim was on his way to the town fair, or "peryahan," when he was shot by an unidentified suspect.
The victim was declared dead on arrival at Ignacio Arroyo Sr. Memorial District Hospital.
The police are still investigating the motive for the killing. (MPE)
