IT will be an evening of music as Flow Asia brings its “Kay Tagal Kitang Hinintay, Jopay” concert to Davao City on March 5, 2023.
The concert's title is derived from two popular songs of the main acts of the concert -- Sponge Cola's "Kay tagal kitang hinintay" and Mayonnaise's "Jopay."
Dabawenyos can expect an entertainment-filled evening as organizers spent two months preparing for the event with promotions beginning on the last week of December.
This will be the first time Mayonnaise and Sponge Cola will be performing on the main stage.
Flow Asia will also be bringing in other bands as front acts during the concert at the University of Southeastern Philippines (Usep) gymnasium.
One of those bands is Libre, a newly formed band by Kevin Hermosada of Team Payaman. Team Payaman is a group of vloggers from Metro Manila with over 38 million subscribers collectively.
Aside from the bands, local DJs have also been invited to perform on stage as well. Davao-based bands and performers Nairud, Isla Riddim, and Playertwo will also be performing.
On the day of the concert, the gate will open at 3:00 p.m. while the concert will end at 9:00 p.m.
Flow Asia said it will be maximizing the available capacity of the Usep Gymnasium to accommodate as many guests they can, of all ages and genders.
Food and snacks from local businesses will also be available during the event. Likewise, concert merchandise like t-shirts will also be sold.
Ticket prices start at P700 for bronze, P1,500 for Silver standing and seated, P2,000 for Gold standing and seated, P2,300 for VIP standing, and P2,500 for VIP seated.
Tickets are available for purchase at SM Tickets Online, SM Lanang Cinema, Club Echelon, Limitless Torres, Limitless Juna, and LYBK Tattoo Studio.
