“We’re three years old!”
We congratulated the management and VIPs of Seda Central Bloc Cebu as it marked two meaningful dates: Its third anniversary, and one of the most celebrated and romantic holidays of the world—Valentine’s Day!
For worldwide Love Day, Seda prepared three-fic treats: Guests enjoyed a 3+1 lunch buffet at Misto Restaurant on Feb. 12-13, and bedroom stays on Feb. 12 came with a 20 percent discount on food and beverages, and a complimentary Mayumi plushie, Seda Hotel’s adopted Philippine Eagle.
On Hearts Day, Misto offered a special dinner buffet for date night, with free-flowing drinks and a rooftop romantic ambience by the bar or the pool.
The “Love-cation” promo last Feb. 13-14, included an overnight stay, a complimentary bottle of wine and a special treat. They came with special rates for a Deluxe Room or Studio Residences, and breakfast buffet for two.
For its third anniversary, a DIY for “Sweets and Scents.” Ever tried concocting your own dark Chocolate dessert? Well, at Seda, a set of media friends, content creators and bloggers went through a novel Do-It-Yourself (DIY) session, provided with dark and white melted sweets and mixed nuts.

What about scenting candles, with lavender, vanilla or jasmine? Candles and Crafts’ Jessamae Tilar taught the group on how to flavor their candles with delicate flowers and leaves so pleasing to the senses. The shop, Quinn’s Candles and Crafts is located at SM Seaside City Cebu,
The event was an instant success with Seda Central Bloc’s hotel manager Ron Manalang and director of sales Thrina De La Calzada thanking the media for unrelenting support during the dreaded Covid pandemic. With no travels, therefore no business, the hotel was thankful that due to its strategic location, it had corporate accounts from the BPO (business process outsourcing) and IT (information technology) industries as its valued clients.
For the information of many, Seda Central Bloc opened on Feb. 12, 2020, a few weeks before the lockdown and restrictions. By the Grace of Someone up there, the hotel never retrenched an employee!
