CL student finalist in ‘Huwarang Mag-aaral’

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO Vianica Kaye Israel, a student of Ramon Magsaysay State University in Iba Zambales, is among the 20 finalists of the “Mga Huwarang Mag-aaral ng Gitnang Luzon” for 2022.

The search is organized by The Outstanding Students of the Philippines – Region 3 Alumni Community of Heroes (TOSP-R3ACH), an independent awards program that recognizes leadership and various programs of youth leaders and movers.

As part of her environmental advocacy, Israel served as the project head of Pagsea-SIKAP sa PawiCare, a donation drive and fund-raising effort aimed at collecting funds for the Pawikan Rangers of Pawicare in La Paz, San Narciso, Zambales.

She is the Project Officer of PawiCamp, a two-day educational campaign to be held on March 4-5, 2023 in Cabangan, Zambales.

This camp will serve as an avenue for young people to immerse themselves in marine turtle conservation issues.

It aims to shape and prepare the next generation’s Marine Warriors through fun and feet-wet experiential education that shall inspire them to demonstrate volunteerism and love for marine life.

The TOSP-R3ACH winners will be announced soon.
