THE Negros Occidental provincial government is all set for the launching of this year's Panaad sa Negros Festival on March 14.

"It will be a fun-filled launch as everyone in the province is excited," Provincial Administrator Rayfrando Diaz II said Wednesday, March 8.

He said the launching will either be at the Provincial Capitol Lagoon and Park or at the Social Hall of the Capitol.

The logo, theme, and official music will be presented during the event, he added.

Diaz said that Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson will announce the final logo.

The logo is a collaboration of four different art works melted together by the Capitol IT experts, he said.

"The governor will have a surprise for them for contributing to our 2023 Panaad logo," he also said.

Diaz added that Lacson had already heard the theme music.

"It just needs a little tweak by adding the sound of bamboo to the remix of samba to give it a local flavor," he said, adding that everything is being done in a very collaborative manner.

A sashing of the official candidates for the Lin-ay sg Negros will also be held during the launching, Diaz said.*
