DepEd NegOcc receives CSC PRIME-HRM Bronze Award

THE Department of Education Schools Division of Negros Occidental (DepEd SDO Negros Occidental) accepted its Bronze Award (Maturity Level II) during awarding ceremonies for the Civil Service Commission’s (CSC) Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management (PRIME-HRM) at the Grand Xing Imperial Hotel, Iloilo City on Tuesday, March 7.

CSC 6 Regional Director Nelson Sarmiento handed over DepEd SDO Negros Occidental’s plaque of recognition to the schools division’s representatives at the awarding ceremony.

In attendance were Assistant Schools Division Superintendents (ASDS) Lynee A. Peñaflor and Salvacion J. Senayo, CESE, along with Administrative Officer (AO) V Atty. Ronald P. Villanueva Jr., AO IV Atty. Jasper Tadeo Tuala, Senior Education Program Specialist (SEPS) Dr. Rebonie F. Emboltorio, and AO II Mary Ann Bravo.

“The award confirms that the agency is compliant with the Level 2-Maturity Indicators in four core HR Systems, particularly Recruitment, Selection and Placement; Learning and Development; Performance Management; and Rewards and Recognition,” Atty. Villanueva said.

The AO V also recognized the invaluable leadership of both previous SDS Marsette D. Sabbaluca, CESO VI and current SDS Anthony H. Liobet, CESO V, with the former having led the initiative to earn the award and the latter maintaining the exemplary practices that led to it.

Meanwhile, Dr. Emboltorio expressed “profound gratitude” to the teachers, non-teaching personnel, school heads, officials, all internal stakeholders, and external partners, for their “great contribution” to the achievement of the PRIME-HRM Bronze Award.

CSC Region 6 also bestowed the bronze award to DepEd SDO Silay City and SDO Iloilo.* (PR)
