THE City of Victorias will celebrate the silver or 25th Charter Day of the city through the staging of the Kadalag-an festival on March 17-23, 2023.

Mayor Javier Miguel Benitez and 3rd District Rep. Jose Francisco Benitez and their fellow officials will spearhead the staging of the grandest comeback of the Kadalag-an festival as they will bring a star-studded Kadalag-an festival.

Bands like the December Avenue, Brownman Revival, and Cali, comedians Ian Red, and Boobsie Wonderland, Marco Gumabao, couple Matteo Guidicelli and Sarah Geronimo, Kylie Verzosa, Bellie Hakenson, and Noven Belleza will be stars and entertainers who will be part of the grand celebration.

The return of this festival is expected to be grandest following the two-year lull due to the pandemic.

With the return of the celebration this year, the search for the Kadalag-an or Sidlak Queen is among the highlights wherein twelve Victoriahanon women will embark on a quest for glory to become the next successor of the most coveted crown—the Sidlak Queen 2023.

The Kadalag-an queen candidates are Cassandra Maureen Matugas, Auleen Medina, Katrina Alexi Collett, Wilshane Marie Gargarino, Almae Heart Jacolbe, Mariane Bauya, Kristina Casanova, Dylan Joy Zartiga, Alyssa Marie Cañete, Kyla Rose Romarate, Pauline Isabelle Guanzon, Frances Marie Monsale.

This is one of the brightest pageants of the year.

The pre-pageant Night will be on March 17, 2023, 7 PM to be held at the Victorias City Public Plaza.
