A BADJAO died after he was shot by an unidentified gunman while he was sleeping inside his house in Sitio Naba, Barangay Mambaling, Cebu City at 2:40 a.m. on Friday, March 10, 2023.
The victim was identified as Sayid Kan Siyang, 24.
According to Senior Master Sergeant Anthony Adizas of Mambaling Police Station, they are still establishing the motive of the crime.
Adizas said the victim was just released from prison last January due to an illegal drug case.
Siyang succumbed to a gunshot wound in the head.
The suspect fled after the incident. (BBT, TPT)
