AGWAY Chemicals Corporation continues to write chapters in the Philippine agriculture industry in driving support and stewardship for the Filipino farmers.
Last February 25, 2023, Agway took a short break to celebrate an important milestone – their 37th Anniversary.
Agway invited all its stakeholders and gathered them in Purok 9, Mahayag Riverside, Bunawan, Davao City, to participate in this celebration with the theme, “Building Strength. Breaking Grounds.”
Agway is what it is today because the family, stakeholders, team members, partners, and suppliers, have always upheld a strong vision toward an organization that not only endures but thrives in a new and dynamic business landscape.
Agway is optimistic about achieving greater heights as they continue to reinforce every stakeholder’s dedication and passion, firm in their belief that in the heart of agriculture is an empowered farmer.
The event has been attended by various business partners, distributors, dealers, farm owners, end-users, and suppliers. The anniversary is the company’s time to express their gratitude owing its accomplishments throughout the years to all those who contributed to its success.
Highlights of the company’s celebration were the event trade which was graced by the presence of their suppliers and dealers, various performances, raffle draws, and the service awardees.
Multinational companies like Bayer and Syngenta expressed their support and gave out prizes for raffle draws. FMC was awarded Farmer’s Choice for Best Booth as they set up a fun and engaging booth decoration. Other agricultural companies also graced the event and showed their support like Leads Agri, IVA, CB Andrew, Planters Products, among other attendees.
Agway Chemicals started in 1986 with just three employees and grew to become one of the biggest importers, distributors, and retailers of agrochemicals and fertilizers in the country. When Mr. Glicerio Rosario, Agway’s Founder and Chairman, was asked what is the secret behind the success of the company, he always has an answer: it is the rock-solid partnership and that complex harmonious activities between Agway and their beloved stakeholders which will always be founded on mutual trust and respect.
