Suspects in school concert robbery nabbed

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO Six individuals who were suspected to be behind a robbery during a school concert in Bulacan were nabbed by police on Sunday.

Elements of San Miguel, Bulacan police initially arrested a certain John Michael Geralin after he allegedly forcibly took the mobile phone of a student watching a music concert inside San Miguel National High School Campus.

Further investigation revealed that Geralin has cohorts who were immediately arrested by responding cops through a follow-up operation.

They were identified as Jeremy Garcia, Jayson Sapugay, Nor-isha Ringuit, Christian Godoy, and Ronald Madulid.

A total of 14 cellphones and a vehicle were seized during the police operation.

Other robbery victims reported to said station and positively identified the suspects.

The number of victims who reported to police have reached 31, according to San Miguel police.

Two of the suspects were able to elude arrest. They were identified as Jomar Losano and Christian Franco Zuniga.

Geralin and his five cohorts will be facing theft charges.
