CAMP OLIVAS At least P1.2 million worth of smuggled cigarettes were seized from a businesswoman in Barangay San Lorenzo, Masinloc, Zambales on Monday.
Colonel Ricardo Pangan, Zambales police provincial director, identified the suspect as Marcelina Palma De Jesus, 36, a resident of said barangay.
Pangan said operatives of Masinloc police recovered from De Jesus 15 master cases of Red Two Moon cigarettes, 10 master cases of Two Moon Lights, five master cases of Black Golden Bridge, 15 master cases of Green Two Moon, and five master cases of Red Modern, valued at P1,250,000.
The suspect is now under the custody of Masinloc police.
