SPC grad places 4th in Medtech exams

A GRADUATE of San Pedro College in Davao City tops fourth in the March 2023 Medical Technologists Licensure Examination based on the results released by the Professional Regulation Commission on March 14.

Ginger Portia Yu Huang earned a rating of 91.70 percent. She is the only graduate from a Davao school on the list of the top 20 examinees who garnered the top ten highest places.

The examinee with the highest score was Sidrey Flores from Colegio San Agustin in Bacolod City with a rating of 92.10 percent.

On the other hand, Huang’s alma mater, San Pedro College (SPC) is the ninth-best-performing school with 50 or more examinees with at least an 80 percent passing rate.

With a passing rate of 92.99 percent, 345 examinees passed out of 371 total takers from SPC.

Velez College and Cebu Doctors University are the top-performing schools with a passing rate of 100 percent.

Other schools in Davao City also performed with flying colors, including Brokenshire College, Davao Doctors College, Mindanao Medical Foundation College, and the University of Immaculate Conception.

Brokenshire College had a passing rate of 75 percent, followed by UIC at 73.27 percent, Tagum Doctors at 64.10 percent, DDC at 47.62 percent, and MMFC at 26.09 percent. ICM
