MEMBERS of the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP)-San Carlos City led the tree planting activity in Sitio Medina, Brgy. Rizal yesterday, March 15.

The activity is part of the observance of Fire Prevention Month where at least 100 Narra seedlings were planted in the said area.

Fire Chief Inspector Rufino Tañedo Jr., City Fire Marshall, said that tree planting is a yearly activity of the BFP intended to help restore the environment.

Tañedo added activities will continue including a clean-up drive and feeding program in Brgy. Guadalupe on Saturday, March 18.

Employees of Gaisano Capital Foundation, Inc., Art Nature- San Carlos, and San Carlos BioPower Inc. joined said activity by the BFP. (PR)
