CITY OF SAN FERNANDO In line with the Women’s Month celebration, the city government here provided free cervical cancer DNA testing to women employees and barangay health workers.
At least 39 women availed of the said program which was conducted by the Jose B. Lingad Memorial General Hospital (JBLMGH).
The program aims to "diagnose the symptoms early and prevent the illness before it worsens."
Aside from the testing, the city government also hosted cervical cancer awareness seminar which was attended by 83 women.
