CITY OF SAN FERNANDO Pampanga Governor Dennis "Delta" Pineda expressed his full support to the drive of the

Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) against unauthorized investment-taking activities and fraudulent schemes at the community level.

During a courtesy call at the Capitol On March 8, 2023, SEC officials led by Commissioner Karlo S. Bello discussed with Pineda the establishment of effective linkages, communication and collaborative activities on investor protection, education and advocacies with local government units in the province.

The SEC executives vowed to deliver the programs, including their Communication, Advocacy and Network (SEC CAN) which promotes financial literacy and inclusion up to the barangay level.

This program is aimed to ensure that all Kapampangans will be protected against illegal investment schemes and be educated to become investor champions.

“Through this partnership, the SEC and the LGUs of Pampanga will pursue common interests in financial literacy and investor protection through information dissemination, promotion, and knowledge and resource sharing,” Bello told Pineda.
