Barmm builds more village halls

THE Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (Barmm) is constructing more village halls in the towns of Barira and Parang, Maguindanao del Norte to provide better services to its constituents, a Barmm official said Friday, March 17.

Lawyer Naguib Sinarimbo, Ministry of the Interior and Local Government (MILG) minister, said that they broke ground on Wednesday, signaling the start of the construction works of the projects.

Among the recipient villages in Barira town are the villages of Bualan, Lipa, Liong and Panggao. In Parang town, the recipients of the projects are Nituan, Magsaysay, mainland Orandan, BM Biruar and Litayen in Bongo Island.

The project, worth P3.5 million each, is funded under the Office of Chief Minister (OCM) and implemented by MILG to Support Local Moral Governance (SLMG).

Sinarimbo said the Barmm government is committed to providing services for its constituents to ensure that its people receive the best services possible. (SunStar Zamboanga)
